The bewitched weekend in the Harz Mountains
The Harz, the most northern German mountainous region. With its streams and valleys, rugged rocks, old castles and palaces, it is not only worth a visit on the day of Walpurgis Night.
1st day: Journey to the Harz Mountains.
After unpacking your belongings you should swarm out on a first walk through the beautiful countryside of the Harz Mountains. Back in the hotel the chef will spoil you with specialities from the Harz region. |
 2nd day: Today a 700 HP strong engine will take you up the Brocken,
the famous mountain where the witches meet. It is hard work to get up! Once you have reached the top you may enjoy the view and relax in the pub.
Back in the hotel a rich evening meal awaits you. Then you will dance into the early hours.
3rd day: After a nourishing breakfast
from the buffet you travel through the Harz Mountains. After a 1,5 hours ride you arrive in Nordhausen, the Town of Corn Schnapps.
You are invited to visit an old distillery that produces Doppelkorn schnapps to this day and to taste the schnapps. Afterwards journey home. |
